How much is a nose job in Korea? How the quote is built
"How much is a nose job in Korea?" is the first question most people send us, often before they have said anything about their nose.
By the end of this guide, your questions about rhinoplasty should turn into a clear next step.
Send 5 photos (front, 45-degree and side) on WhatsApp and we will reply in English with a free first assessment: the likely scope of surgery and how the estimate is worked out.
Send my photos on WhatsAppIt is a fair question. You are planning flights, a hotel and time off work, and you need a number to decide whether the trip makes sense at all. The honest answer is that a nose job in Korea is priced by what your nose needs, not from a menu. Here is how that works, so you can read any quote you receive, ours included.
How much is a nose job in Korea? It depends on four things
Every rhinoplasty quote in Korea is built from the same four parts. Two people who both say "I want a higher bridge" can end up with very different quotes, because their noses need different work.
| What changes the quote | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| First surgery or revision | A revision means scar tissue, often an old implant to remove, and rebuilt support. It is priced higher than a first surgery |
| Graft material | Septal or ear cartilage is usually part of the base plan. Rib cartilage is a separate surgical step and is added on top |
| Areas treated | Bridge only, tip only, or bridge, tip and nostrils together. Each extra area adds to the quote |
| What the quote includes | Anesthesia, CT, aftercare visits and VAT are included in some quotes and charged separately in others |
That is also why a fixed price on a website rarely survives the consultation. The scope changes once the surgeon has seen your nose, and the price changes with it.

Bridge and tip shaped together. Main risks: swelling and bruising. Results vary from person to person.
First surgery or revision: the biggest difference in price
If you have had nose surgery before, tell the clinic in your first message. It is the single fact that changes a quote the most.
In a revision, the surgeon works through scar tissue from the earlier operation. An old silicone implant may need to come out, and the tip often needs new support from cartilage. This takes more time and more planning than a first surgery. At TIANA, revision rhinoplasty, including contracture after surgery elsewhere, is priced separately from a first surgery for that reason.
If you are not sure whether your case counts as a revision, send your current photos and a line about what was done before and roughly when. The surgeon will tell you which it is.
Wondering which type your nose is?
Share your profile and front photos — the surgeon will tell you which procedures your nose would actually need. No cost, no obligation.
Ask which procedure fits meWhy rib cartilage adds to the quote
Many noses can be shaped with cartilage from the septum or the ear. When there is not enough, for example after an earlier surgery has used it up, rib cartilage is used. Harvesting it is a separate step in the operation, so it is added to the base fee.
Rib cartilage is not an upgrade you choose for a better result. It is used when the nose needs strong support that the other sources cannot give. A clinic should tell you why it is recommending it for your nose. You can read more on rib cartilage rhinoplasty in Korea.
What a rhinoplasty quote in Korea should include
When you compare clinics, line up what each quote includes before you compare the totals. This is what TIANA's quote covers:
| Item | TIANA quote |
|---|---|
| Anesthesia | Included |
| CT imaging | Included |
| Treatment and aftercare visits | Included |
| VAT (10%) | Included |
| Prescription medicine | Separate (you get a prescription) |
A quote that looks lower may simply leave out anesthesia, imaging or VAT. Ask each clinic the same question: "Is this the full amount I will pay on the day?"

Tip refinement with a natural profile. Main risks: swelling and bruising. Results vary from person to person.
The 2026 tax refund change
Older blog posts and forum threads often subtract a tax refund from the price. The VAT refund for foreigners on cosmetic surgery no longer applies from 2026, and TIANA does not process refunds.
If you are budgeting from an older article, check its date. Our quotes include VAT, so there is nothing to deduct later.
Package prices: what to check first
Some agencies and clinics advertise a package that bundles surgery, hotel and transfers. A package can be convenient, but the surgery part is the same four factors as above. Check who the surgeon is, what scope is included, and what happens if the scope changes at the consultation. We cover this in more detail in what South Korea rhinoplasty packages leave out.
What I tell patients who ask about price first
I understand why the price comes first. You are deciding whether to fly. But I would rather give you an honest range for your own nose than a low number that changes once you arrive. If your nose needs a revision or rib cartilage, I will tell you at the photo stage, so the figure you plan around is close to the one you pay.

How to get a personal quote from TIANA
- Send 5 photos on WhatsApp. Front, 45-degree from each side and a full profile from each side, without makeup. Add a line about any earlier nose surgery and what you would like to change. See which 5 photos to take.
- The surgeon reviews them. You get a reply in English with the likely scope and how the quote is calculated for your nose.
- Consultation in Seoul. On the day, the surgeon examines you with 3D-CT, and an interpreter joins your consultation. The final quote is confirmed after this, before anything is booked.
- Book and pay. A deposit holds the surgery date. You can pay by Visa or Mastercard, or in cash exchanged before your visit. WOWPASS cannot be used.
How long to plan for
Most patients plan 7 to 14 nights in Seoul, with a minimum of 7. The exact schedule for stitch and splint removal varies from person to person and is explained again at surgery. If you need to go home on day 7, you get a referral letter and a surgery certificate so the inner stitches can be removed at home. More on timing is in how long to stay in Korea for rhinoplasty.
Questions to ask any clinic about price
- Is this a first-surgery price or a revision price for my nose?
- Which cartilage will you use, and is rib cartilage included?
- Which areas of the nose does this quote cover?
- Are anesthesia, CT, aftercare and VAT included?
- What happens to the price if the plan changes at the consultation?
A clinic that answers all five clearly is giving you a quote you can plan a trip around.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1How much is a nose job in Korea?
It depends on whether it is a first surgery or a revision, which graft material is used, and how many areas of the nose are treated. Send 5 photos (front, 45-degree and side) on WhatsApp and TIANA replies with the likely scope and how the quote is calculated for your nose.
Q2Why is revision rhinoplasty more expensive?
A revision means working through scar tissue, removing or replacing an earlier implant, and often rebuilding support with new cartilage. It takes longer and needs more planning than a first surgery, so it is priced higher.
Q3Does rib cartilage cost extra?
Yes. Rib cartilage is a separate surgical step, so it is added to the base fee. It is usually needed only when the septum and ear cannot provide enough cartilage, which is common in revisions.
Q4Can I still get a tax refund on cosmetic surgery in Korea?
No. The VAT refund for foreigners on cosmetic surgery no longer applies from 2026. TIANA's quotes already include VAT, so the figure you are given is the figure you pay.
Q5How do I pay?
Visa or Mastercard credit card, or cash. If you pay in cash, exchange it before your visit. WOWPASS cannot be used. A deposit is needed to book the surgery date.
