Why a revised tip recovers on its own timetable

What if the tip looks off once you're home?

In the first weeks, a tip that looks uneven, high or stiff is often still swelling, and shape is usually judged too early before about a month. Fever, spreading redness, discharge or severe pain are different, and they mean seeing a local doctor or an emergency department the same day.

The ASPS safety page lists infection, asymmetry and the possibility of further surgery among rhinoplasty risks, and revision work carries them too. Contracture can recur, a tip can end up slightly uneven, and some noses need another small correction later.
